IGNOU and MKCL launch BBA Programme for Working Students

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has tied up with Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) to launch Bachelors of Business Administration (Service Management ) Programme called at BBA@Workplace. The goal of the collaboration is to create a programme that caters to young professionals aspiring to build a successful career in services industry.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. Uma Kanjilal, Vice Chancellor, IGNOU. The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Alok Chaube,Registrar (Administration), IGNOU and Prof. Sameer Pande, Managing Director, MKCL Pune.

During the MoU signing, M. S. Senam Raju, Director, School of Management Studies, IGNOU said that the unique pedagogy adopted by MKCL for the Bachelor programme which predominantly is online based with learning while working focus, and added that he is hopeful of the success of the programme as it draws strength from both the organization benefiting the learner.

While  IGNOU is a University known for its unique program delivery and pioneer in Distance Education in the country , MKCL has been a notable organisation in adopting unique educational methodologies. This strategic partnership is expected to bring about a valuable pathway for students to gain a practical learning experience of the dynamic service sector in India. The proposed BBA @ Workplace can be instrumental in fulfilling the dynamic needs of the evolving service industry in India.
