Below is the step by step guide for filling out IGNOU Exam Form Online:
Visit https://exam.ignou.ac.in/ to access the online submission process of IGNOU examination form.
The University has laid out certain instructions in the beginning of filling up exam form. These may include fee instructions, fee schedule, information regarding practicals and projects, eligibility, particular course information etc. After reading all the instructions, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click of the check box for Declaration. Click on ‘Process To Online Examination Form’
Enter your student details such as Enrollment Number and Programme Code. As soon as you enter your programme code, you are given an option to select examination region. Choose the region where you want to give your exam. Next, enter the Captcha and click on ‘Submit’.
You will see a screen with all the details. Select the Regional Centre and Exam Centre code of your choice carefully.
Make sure to fill in and cross check other information properly. Choose the subjects that you want to give exam for. Once all the parts of the examination form are filled, the summary of it will be reflected on screen before proceeding for payment. Check the same carefully to avoid future consequences.
You may select payment gateway as indicated in the portal to make payment using Debit Card/Credit Card or Internet Banking of any bank. Examination fee once paid is not adjusted or refunded.
Once, the payment is done, you will be given an acknowledgement slip having a control number of your transaction. Save the control number and acknowledgment slip for future.

In some cases the status of submission of exam form is generated within 72 hours after making the payment. The University will not be held responsible, in case, the status of the submission of exam form shown as Transaction Failed after the last date of submission of exam form is over. You are advised not to wait for the last date for submission of the exam form.
